Bluegrass JAMM in June!
JAMM is hosting our first annual Bluegrass "mini-camp" this June 13-17 from 1:00-4:00 at Floyd Dryden Middle School! JAMM is inviting 4th-8th grade students to participate in this week long session of mandolin, guitar, beginning and advanced fiddle, folk songs, and bluegrass ensemble.
Hereʼs what you need to know:
Cost: JAMM is committed to being tuition free, so that no child experiencing financial hardship will ever be denied enrollment in JAMM. However, JAMM must raise $250 per child every school year to cover the cost of teachers, instruments, and materials. We ask families to consider contributing $50, or what they can, to help cover program costs. Thank you for your support!
Hereʼs what you need to know:
- No previous experience is necessary. This camp is open to all 4th-8th grade students; previous JAMM participating during the school year is not required.
- Instruments will be provided during each class. JAMM students may use their current instrument for this summer session.
- This 5-day camp will run June 13-17, 1:00-4:00. Student pick up is promptly at 4:00-4:10.
- Bussing will be provided to Valley and Lemon Creek Locations
