2nd Grade ḴYNA JAMM Club at Sitʼ Eetí Shaanax̱ Glacier Valley
2nd graders at SES GV participate in JAMMʼs Ḵux̱dei Yaa Nas.ax Lingít language revitalization program (ḴYNA), which uses music -song, dance, violin- to teach Lingít language and uplift Lingit culture. All 2nd graders receive 60 minutes of violin and music instruction during the school day; students who want to increase their music and Lingit language skill can join after-school club on Wednesdays for an additional 45 minutes of ḴYNA ensemble class.
