2nd-6th Grade Sitʼ Éeti Shaanax̱ Glacier Valley JAMM Club Registration
Juneau Alaska Music Matters (JAMM) offers an after-school music program focused on social skills, music exploration, ensemble, and teamwork. It is open to all 3rd-6th grade students!
Club meets after school on Mondays and Wednesdays:
All 2nd and 3rd graders will participate in violin class.
4th-6th graders choose guitar (beginning and returning) or violin (returning JAMM violinists only).
4th-6th graders also choose an exploratory class. Fall offerings are: Discovery Southeast and Drumming, Stories and Songs with Mr George.
Details:
● Space is limited! Please don't wait to register. Space is limited to the first students who complete registration. Additional students who wish to participate will be put on a waitlist, and families will be contacted if there is an opening, in the order that the registration form was received.
● Fall semester starts Monday Sept. 21st and ends Wednesday Dec. 2nd
● Spring semester starts January 25th and ends April 28th
● Free snack is provided.
● Busing is available for students living within SES GV boundaries. Busing is a privilege; students may be removed from the bus if JAMM receives reports of inappropriate behavior on the bus.
● If a lead teacher is sick or snowed in and unable to attend club, we may cancel club for that day. We will let families know by 11:30am if that must happen.

- 2nd - 3rd Grade: 2:30 - 3:45 pm (2nd and 3rd graders riding the bus or with older siblings in the program stay until 4:40 pm)
- 4th - 6th Grade: 2:30 - 4:40 pm
