Allegro Tutorial for Violin
Allegro Skills:
  • The bowing for this piece requires a lot of control: moving from lightning bows (marcato) with a slight rest between each quarter note to legato or connected bows for the eighth notes. This piece is playful and keeps you on your toes.
  • Fermata: this term is often called "birdʼs eye" because you have to keep your eye on the conductor to see how long that beat will be held. How long can you stay frozen at the fermato and trick your audience into thinking itʼs over?
Allegro Play-Along for Violin
Boss Level: Change the Settings in Youtube to Slow Down or Speed Up the Tempo. Can you stay together with the piano accompaniment?
