Family Ukulele

Students and family members near and far can play together in this informal virtual ukulele class. Any 2nd - 5th grade JAMM student can check-out an ukulele along with an adult family member. The class is offered on Thursdays from 5 to 5:45 p.m. to help make the class more accessible where families can join online from home. Once a month, JAMM will host an in-person potluck gathering where families can meet, greet and play together.

Jemima is a first year Elementary Education student at the University of Alaska Southeast! She has been playing the violin since kindergarten and is a member of JAMMʼs very first kindergarten cohort. The violin plays a positive piece in her life. After being a teaching assistant throughout her middle & high school years, Jemima is now a lead teacher for JAMM!
