JAMMʼs End of Year Community Celebration

Join JAMM and community musicians for a special end-of-year celebration on May 5th! 2nd-5th grade JAMM students from KHE, and 3rd-5th grade JAMM students from SES GV will perform, along with The Juneau Symphonyʼs Prelude Orchestra, Juneau String Ensembles' Aurora Strings and Ursa Major, Alaska Youth Choir, Dzantiki Heeni Mariachi and Floyd Dryden Orchestra! We will also be honoring our graduating 5th graders, and the original JAMM cohort - it all started with Paper Violins in Kindergarten, and now they are graduating High School!

JAMM will host a reception following the concert. Parents will be invited to complete a short survey at the event, so that they can be entered into a raffle drawing, and registration forms for free summer opportunities will be made available.

Additional Info:
  • Date/Time: Friday, May 5th, 5-7 pm
  • Location: Glacier Valley Elementary School
  • Food will be provided by donation. Please consider bringing a baked good to share.

  • JAMM staff will provide JAMM T-shirts
  • Performers include: JAMM 2rd-5th grade KHE and 3rd-5th grade SES GV students, along with many middle school and community ensembles.
