Welcome!

Welcome to Miss Ruth's Jazz Unit Page! In addition to participating in jazz music-making in the music room once a week, students will be working on the computers in the library once a week and completing weekly online assignments, using technology as a tool to learn more about jazz history. Students will be exploring how music informs who we are, creating their own digital stories based off of cultural history projects they completed in the Fall. This projects will include the use of jazz music, images, and writing to share part of who they are.
Students will be completing short assignments once a week outside of class. In order to access the assignments for each class day, please hover over the "Jazz Class" tab under Lessons- Year Five, and select the day you would like to access.
